Hospitality.

From the first website visit to service at the table: connect reservations, your menu and the people working the floor, alongside your existing till.

Know who is coming before service starts

A restaurant reservation is about more than an available time. You need to know the party size, service window, capacity and the table that fits. Nevai brings guest and reservation information together so staff can prepare before people arrive.

The public booking component is the starting point for guests; the reservation workspace is where your team handles the result. Tables and zones give that information a place on the floor plan. We configure the booking rules around your service rather than treating every table like an individual appointment.

  1. Guest makes a reservation
  2. Assign the appropriate table
  3. Staff see it on the floor plan

Give the floor a shared view

An active floor plan connects reservation information to the actual tables. Numbered tables and zones help staff find the right place, while table status shows where attention is needed. The Waiter view uses that plan and lets staff work with orders per table.

Staff can use a phone while serving and a larger screen for an overview. Order handling is separate from proof of payment. We are still completing operational notifications and recovery after connection loss; the current pilot should not be treated as an offline-ready replacement for a till.

Plan the team and follow the day's orders

Reservations, staff shifts and sales answer different questions. Reservations show expected guests, shifts show the people scheduled to work and sales show the orders recorded. Keep those views connected without turning them into one overloaded calendar.

Nevai has a foundation for products, order lines and sales records. Fiscal reporting, automatic bookkeeping and production payments are not finished. Your existing till and accounting process remain in place; we agree how information should be reconciled before it becomes part of daily financial reporting.

The pieces of a connected restaurant

  • Reservations

Keep guest details, service windows and capacity together.

  • Menu management

Manage categories, products, prices, availability and dietary information.

  • Floor plan

Place numbered tables and zones in a shared view of your restaurant.

  • Table orders

Let staff select menu products and record orders against the right table.

  • Staff shifts

Keep staff scheduling separate from guest reservations.

  • Sales overview

Review recorded orders and sales without confusing them with confirmed payment.

Build the setup around how your restaurant actually serves guests. A public menu may be enough to start; reservations, the floor plan and table orders can be introduced as the workflow is tested with your team.

Nevai supports the connection between website and service. It does not currently promise a complete cash register, kitchen display system, payroll package or automatic table optimisation. QR presentation, reliable staff notifications and offline recovery remain part of the work needed for a production restaurant rollout.

Work alongside your existing till

Keep your existing till for checkout and its fiscal responsibilities. Nevai can sit alongside it for website content, reservations, menu management and table-related work. A direct connection depends on what that till or other system supports and is scoped separately.

Mollie is currently test-only in this project; live onboarding and reliable payment processing require further implementation and review. Bookkeeping connections are also future work. We first map the information and responsibilities, rather than assuming an order recorded in Nevai has already been paid.

Hosting for your way of working

Use managed Nevai Cloud, a dedicated environment or your own infrastructure. We discuss connectivity, support and operational requirements with you. Pricing describes the hosting model; restaurant configuration and any till integration are agreed separately.
